Specialty coffee…from seed, to roaster, to barista, to cup-it is the crop that bonds us together as a community.  As the world’s second most traded commodity, coffee is integral to the livelihood of everyone in the chain of production that contributed to the full bodied, ambrosial brew you savor each morning.  As the founders of specialty coffee standards, the SCAA has spent the last 27 years not only devoted to those who derive their living from coffee, but also to ensuring the future of a product based on quality and distinction.

The SCAA Exposition, The Event, is our community’s annual gathering.  It is our opportunity to come together as a whole and celebrate our accomplishments, challenge our abilities, and work towards solutions for the future.   Envisioned as an all-in-one model, The Event was designed to appeal to and provide for every segment within the coffee industry.  With that concept in mind, we are pleased to present our new Exposition website, with suggested daily itineraries for major categories of attendees as well as the ability for visitors to create their very own custom daily itineraries with the click of a button.  We want every attendee, whether it’s their first experience or their 20th, to come away from The Event with a sense of achievement, excitement and unity.
